Kim Kardashian has paid tribute to her late aunt, Karen Houghton, following her death at the age of 65.
Kris Jenner confirmed the sad news of her sister’s ‘unexpected’ death earlier this week, with her loved ones quickly rallying around.
In a new post on Instagram, the Skims businesswoman mourned the loss by sharing a string of throwback photos.
Beside the images, highlighting their bond over the years, she penned: ‘🕊️I love you so much auntie Karen🕊️.’
Kourtney Kardashian was among those who offered support in the comments section below, and simply replied: ‘Auntie Karen ❤.’
She also shared a snap from Kim’s carousel – showing them both cuddled up with their late aunt – on her Instagram story, with a heart emoji.’
Kris announced her sister’s death on social media on Tuesday, posting some rare pictures with Karen and their mother, Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon.
‘It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly,’ she began the lengthy message.
‘My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time.

‘Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny. She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter.
‘She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together.’
Kris concluded the post: ‘Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them.
‘I love you my beautiful sister.’
Her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, was among the first to reply to the upload publicly, commenting: ‘I love you mommy.’

Karen’s cause of death has not been confirmed.
According to TMZ, she was reported as deceased to San Diego County officials on Monday, with details surrounding the news currently unclear.
Karen was born to MJ and Robert Houghton in 1958 – arriving three years after Kris.
The outlet reports that the siblings grew up in San Diego together and lived mostly with their mom.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Natalie, who she shares with ex-husband Mark Zettel.
Despite being part of one of the most famous families in the world, very little is known about Karen – who previously had a fraught relationship with her sister.
She previously told DailyMail.com that she had run-ins with Kris, and has ‘called her’ sibling, ‘yelling at her’ over issues with their mom.
