A signed copy of Kanye West’s 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is going up for auction.

The record was autographed by the 46-year-old rapper in February on a trip to Paris, during which he wrote ‘f*** Adidas’ on the front portion of the LP.

The performer’s trip took place just a few days after he went on a tirade against the clothing company, whom he accused of releasing Yeezy sneakers without his official approval, reported TMZ.

The record is currently scheduled to be auctioned through Gotta Have Rock and Roll starting on June 19, although Moments In Time is currently considering any offers above $500,000.

West also signed the record under his Ye moniker, which has been his legal name ever since 2021.

The fan who obtained the record spoke to Moments In Time and stated that they received the rapper’s signature after hours of waiting in front of his hotel.

They recalled that, although the performer was protected from the swarm of fans by security, he emerged from his van and encouraged the crowd present to yell ‘f*** Adidas’ at the top of their lungs.

According to the fan, he eventually came face-to-face with the rapper and had his record signed, and he claimed that the photo of the hitmaker personalizing his vinyl went viral, after which he was bombarded with offers to buy the record.

The fan went on to describe the signed album as ‘a piece of American rap history.’

West’s collaboration with Adidas began in 2013, when he confirmed that he had signed a deal with the company.

The first Yeezy clothing line was released to the public two years later and quickly became a hit with the rapper’s fans.

The performer went on to sign an extension with Adidas in 2016, when it was also announced that he would be making a move into the sportswear industry.

However, Adidas terminated their contract with West after he made numerous antisemitic comments in 2022.

The performer’s professional relationships with both Balenciaga and Vogue were also severed at the time.

The company issued a statement and remarked via TMZ that the hitmaker’s inflammatory comments were ‘unacceptable, hateful and dangerous.’

They added that the comments ‘violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.’
