Las Vegas Aces Star Kelsey Plum shocked the world when she uploaded a cryptic post on her social media. Later it was confirmed by People, that the WNBA star had filed for divorce. Darren Waller the NFL star and Plum have called it quits after one year of marriage. Plum spoke to Paloma Villicana of Fox 5 news, “Oh wow, the offseason has been tough for me. I mean, I’m sure everyone knows, it’s pretty public.”
The point guard also said, “I’m excited about this season…trying to run it back again.” With the WNBA starting in less than 48 hours, Plum has decided to take her marketing campaign to another level. Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims is the official underwear partner of the WNBA, also partnering with Candace Parker, Cameron Brink, DiJonai Carrington, and Skylar Diggins-Smith alongside Plum.

Kelsey Plum uploaded another post on her Instagram with 3 photos and wrote “Part 2” as the caption. A few weeks ago fans were calling out brands to involve veteran Plum in marketing activities, as Caitlin Clark had taken over the brands and the WNBA by storm. Fans seem happy seeing Plum not only the face of Target but now also Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
Fans support Kelsey Plum after divorce
Though the official reason for the divorce hasn’t been made public, some fans have chosen Kelsey Plum’s side. A fan wrote and insinuated how Waller was responsible for the divorce. “Biggest fumble of Darren Waller’s career was off the field.”
A few days ago Kelsey Plum and the Las Vegas Aces visited the White House as part of the tradition for winning the last year’s WNBA championship. Even Plum said she was ready for the new season and excited to win it again with the Aces. Seeing such excitement from Plum and her photos one fan wrote, “Darren Waller punching the air right now and screaming into a pillow”
Continuing on the Waller losing out angle, another fan wrote, ” Waller really fumbled on biggest play his life 😂.”
Sometimes fans don’t ask much just simple questions. One fan asked how Waller could end up divorcing Kelsey Plum. “How can you divorce that.”
With the Aces looking for their 3rd straight title, things won’t be easy. Due to additions of the 2024 draft picks as well other teams being tactically ready for the challenge. Speaking to Paloma Villicana, “I know that our fans are with us, I know that this organization is with us I know that our team is as tight as we’ve ever been and we really are just embodying that ‘Aces vs. Everybody’ [mentality],” said Plum.
Seeing such fired-up comments, one fan can’t wait for the season to begin for Plum and Co. “The Revenge Tour has commenced.“
