Taylor Swift’s fans have a theory about ‘thanK you aIMee’

Taylor Swift’s fans have been putting their detective hats on and have come up with a theory about her new song ‘thanK you aIMee’.

The track features of Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department, and is believed to be about Kim Kardashian.

Hailed as a ‘diss track’ about the reality TV star and ex wife of Kanye West, it’s thought that the capped up letters in the song title spell out ‘KIM’.

At one stage it appeared as if they made amends, but after West released the song ‘Famous’ which referred to Swift, things all went south again.

While Kardashian divorced from the rapper in 2022, it looks like Swift still has ‘Bad Blood’ with her.

As well as talking about a high school bully in ‘thanK you aIMee’, Swift sings about a ‘bronze, spray-tanned statue’.

The lyrics go: “There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you, and a plaque underneath it hat threatens to push me down the stairs at our school.”

Swifties have now put forward the theory that this is in reference to the statue of Athena Parthenos in the Nashville Parthenon.

The key feature to the statue is the fact that the Greek goddess is stood by a large snake.

At the height of their fallout, Kardashian referred to Swift as a ‘snake’.

When leaking a phone call between the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker and her then-husband West, the SKIMS founder wrote on X: “Wait it’s legit National Snake Day?!?!? They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days!”

Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans then proceeded to bombard Swift with snake emojis as a way of trolling the singer.

Then, as a way of reclaiming the whole ‘snake’ thing, during her Reputation tour, Swift had ‘a 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn’ appear onstage with her.

Swifties then flocked to social media to share images of Nashville Parthenon statue as they were convinced it was her inspiration for the unusual prop, Page Six reports.

And it looks like Athena Parthenos has taken center stage one again and has been referenced in ‘thanK you aIMee’ – according to Swifties, anyway.

Since the release of Swift’s album, Kardashian has lost thousands of followers on Instagram.

As of last month, the mom-of-four had 364.3 million followers, but this has since gone down to 363 million.
