Taylor Swift fans swarm Kim Kardashian’s social media with the same message after ‘diss track’ release

Swifties since flooded Kim’s Instagram comments

Today is well and truly dedicated to Taylor Swift with the release of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The hugely anticipated album dropped on today (April 19), leading to millions of Swifties downloading and streaming it immediately.

Fans left stunned after Taylor Swift appears to drop Kim Kardashian ‘diss track’ on new album

There has been a bunch of talking points surrounding the singer’s 11th studio album release, including that she had apparently been dropping several hints before the album’s release.

But a song called ‘thanK you aIMee’, which features on the album, has also left many fans stunned.

The track focuses on a seemingly fictional story of a feud that Swift had with a woman called ‘Aimee’ from her hometown.

Aimee was somewhat of a bully who later became celebrated – much to the ‘Karma’ singer’s dismay.

Her fans theorised on Genius that the song was in reference to ‘Kim Kardashian’s attempt to ruin Taylor’s career during the phone scandal backfired on her and boosted Taylor to an even higher level of fame’.

In the song’s chorus, Swift sings: “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin.”

While another line says: “And one day, your kid comes home singin.

“A song that only us two is gonna know is about you.”

Back to Genius once more, fans further claimed: “This is likely a reference to North West having posted a TikTok dancing to a Taylor Swift song.”

And many have also pointed to the capital letters in the song’s title, which spell out the name ‘KIM’.

To say the song has surprised fans is an understatement, with many flocking to social media to express their opinions.

“I DID NOT HAVE TAYLOR SWIFT GAGGING KIM KARDASHIAN ON MY 2024 BINGO CARD OMFG?????” one person on X penned.

“Not a song about a school bully being called thanK you aIMEE… KIM,” a second added.

Following this, many of Swift’s followers have since swarmed Kim’s social media with the exact same message.

On Kim’s recent Instagram posts, the name of the song has flooded the comments.

And at the time of writing, these comments are picking at a rapid rate – to which Kardashian has not yet responded too.

UNILAD has reached out to Kardashian’s and Swift’s reps for comment.

But she isn’t the only one that fans believe she also took aim at in the album.

It has been speculated that Swift’s ex, Matt Healy, got his own reference in a few songs too.
