Emotional moment Taylor Swift stops and looks stunned at Eras Tour show

Taylor Swift was left astonished by the response from her adoring Welsh fans during her performance in Cardiff last night. Her hit song ‘Champagne Problems’ prompted an overwhelming cheer from the crowd, leaving Taylor in awe for a full minute.

The large screens showed Taylor mouthing “Oh my God”, clearly taken aback, and she even momentarily removed her earpiece to properly hear the roar of the crowd. She mouthed “What?” before re-inserting the earpiece and saying: “This crowd in Cardiff is one for the books. This is different – you’re another level! I love you so much, thank you for that. You’re just so beautiful – you’re so generous to us.”

During her sensational performance at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Swift kicked off the night by charming the audience with some Welsh sayings, nailing “Croeso i’r daith Eras!”, which translates to “Welcome to the Eras Tour!” One of Taylor’s dancers even exclaimed ‘ych a fi!’ (‘gross!’), to the delight of the attendees. But it was a young fan who was most amazed when Swift gave her the infamous 22 hat, creating an unforgettable memory for the little girl.

Over 70,000 fans flocked to the stadium to catch a glimpse of the superstar during her one-night performance in the Welsh capital. Hundreds of unlucky fans who couldn’t secure tickets sat outside the venue, soaking up the atmosphere and listening to the concert.

The Eras Tour is landing in London this week, with performances at Wembley Stadium on June 21, 22 and 23 and August 15,16,17,19 and 20.
