U.S. Attorney Announces Indictment of Shan Combs on Racketeering, $eΧ Trafficking Charges

In a significant legal development, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, announced the unsealing of a three-count indictment against Shan Combs.

The charges include racketeering conspiracy, $eΧ tr@fficking, and interstate transportation for prostitution.

These serious accusations outline a series of disturbing crimes involving exploitation, abuse, and coercion, allegedly carried out over a span of more than a decade.

According to the indictment, from at least 2008 to the present, Combs systematically abused, threatened, and coerced victims to satisfy his $eχual desires, maintain his public reputation, and conceal his criminal actions.

The charges indicate that Combs operated a racketeering enterprise using his business empire as a front to commit a variety of crimes, including $eχ trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.

“The indictment alleges that Shan Combs led and participated in a racketeering conspiracy that used his business to further criminal activity,” said Williams. “This included $eΧ trafficking, physical abuse, and the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.”

One of the central accusations in the indictment is Combs’ organization of events known as “Fr3ak offs,” during which he allegedly forced victims into extended $eχual performances.

These performances often involved male commercial $eχ workers, many of whom were transported across state lines at Combs’ direction.

The “Fr3ak offs” are said to have lasted for days at a time, involved multiple $eχ w0rkers, and frequently included the use of narcotics like ketamine, ecstasy, and GHB.

These drugs, according to the indictment, were distributed by Combs to keep the victims compliant.

Combs reportedly used violence, manipulation, and threats to ensure the participation of victims. “When Combs didn’t get his way, he became violent,” said Williams.

“He subjected his victims to physical, emotional, and verbal abuse.” In one particularly disturbing incident from 2016, Combs was captured on video kicking, dragging, and throwing a vase at a victim in a Los Angeles hotel as she tried to flee.

The victims, many of whom sustained injuries that took days or weeks to heal, were reportedly trapped in a cycle of abuse that included threats to their safety and well-being.

Combs allegedly maintained control over the victims through a combination of financial dependence, drug addiction, and threats of public embarrassment, using recordings of the “Fr3ak offs” as leverage.

The indictment goes on to allege that Combs did not act alone. He reportedly employed high-ranking supervisors within his business, personal assistants, security personnel, and household staff to facilitate and conceal his criminal activities.

These individuals allegedly booked hotel rooms for the “Fr3ak 0ffs,” stocked them with drugs, personal lubricants, and other supplies, and helped clean up after the events. They also helped coordinate the travel arrangements for the victims and $eχ workers.

In some instances, Combs is accused of using firearms to intimidate and control both his victims and witnesses to his crimes.

The indictment details instances where Combs allegedly brandished firearms and resorted to kidnapping and arson to silence those who could testify against him.

Witnesses and victims were reportedly pressured into silence through intimidation, threats, and bribes.

As part of the ongoing investigation, federal agents executed search warrants at Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles in March of this year.

During the searches, agents seized electronic devices, firearms, and ammunition, including defaced AR-15 rifles and a large-capacity drum magazine.

These items, along with video recordings of the “Fr3ak offs,” are expected to play a crucial role in the prosecution’s case. Agents also confiscated over 1,000 bottles of personal lubricants and baby oil, believed to have been used in the “Fr3ak offs.”

Williams emphasized that this is an ongoing investigation and urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward.

“No matter how powerful or wealthy you are, our commitment to pursuing justice will not waver,” Williams said, calling attention to Combs’ once-glamorous life and noting his recent high-profile appearances, such as receiving a key to New York City.

“We are not done. This investigation continues, and we encourage anyone with information to step forward,” Williams added.

He expressed his gratitude to the victims and witnesses who have helped shed light on the crimes, as well as to the dedicated federal agents and prosecutors working on the case.

The indictment of Shan Combs represents a significant step in the fight against $eχ trafficking and exploitation.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has made it clear that they will continue to investigate and prosecute those involved in these heinous crimes, no matter their status or position. The case is expected to draw continued attention as it moves forward in the courts.
