The man has hit out against the social media star
Kim Kardashian’s ex-business partner claims that he is ‘financially ruined’ and is now living out of his car due to a dodgy deal made between the pair.
The reality star’s former business parter helped to develop the highly-profitable Kardashian-themed emoji app, Kimoji.
David Liebensohn, 43, worked alongside the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star with the assistance of two other colleagues. The app in question went on to generate a staggering $1 million in a single minute. Check out the man’s public tirade against Kardashian here:
The app went on to be so popular that even rapper ex-husband, Kanye West, commented on its record-breaking success on a track from The Life of Pablo album.
In the song ‘Facts’, West raps: “Kimoji just shut down the app store! And we made a million a minute, we made a million a minute!”
Liebensohn has been incredibly open about his financial situation following the business blunder ,and has regularly posted across social media outlets about the ordeal, after revealing that he ‘refuses to be gagged’ any longer.
In many of his videos uploaded to Instagram and TikTok, the man can be seen walking around holding a cardboard sign which reads: “Kim Kardashian ruined my life.com.”
It all went south when Liebensohn sued the socialite for $300 million back in 2019, claiming she stole his idea for the Kimoji app and ran away with the trademark.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the man claimed he didn’t see a single cent of the fortune made from the app, which he helped create.

However, Kardashian’s team maintain that the ex-business partner willingly signed away all rights to the app, which consequently gave the Skims founder ”unfettered’ ownership of Kimoji.
A rep for Kardashian has since pointed out that the man’s claims were rejected by an arbitrator, and an LA Superior Court judge, in favor of the business mogul, back in 2020.
But that’s not stopped the man from piping up about the scandal a whole four years on from the initial lawsuit.
“If I get hit by a bus tomorrow,” he told the news outlet, “I want everyone to know the truth about the Kardashians.”
According to Liebensohn, he was forced by Kardashian’s legal team to withdraw his lawsuit and was left penniless, unable to pay for his legal fees.
“He lost his home, his $2 million business, and his family,” the outlet reports, “he now lives in his 2011 Toyota Prius to save on rent and showers in the gym.”
Talking about his decision to wave around the viral anti-Kim K placards, Liebensohn explained: “I thought people might want to know about this story, what have I got to lose right now by telling it?”

“I’m literally sleeping in my car. I might as well put all this in a story that people can maybe make some sense out of, and see what happens.”
He confessed: “I lost my wife, my kids blamed me, they had a rough time at school, they were teenagers at the time and idolized that family – Kim and her sisters – then this happened, and it destroyed us.”
The car-dweller went on to admit that he still holds a huge grudge against his ex-business partner, saying: “I blame them for all of it. Because before I met them, I was on a positive trajectory.
“After that, everything that I’d worked for started going downhill to the point where I’m now sleeping in my car. They’re 1,000% to blame.”
