BREAKING NEWS: 50 Cent drawn into P Diddy investigation as ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy named as associate

P Diddy, real name Sean Combs, is facing a new federal investigation after a grand jury subpoena was issued to a Miami hotel in connection to the probe into the rapper

Superstar rapper and record executive Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs remains under federal criminal investigation, as New York’s Southern District Court prosecutors continue their inquiry into allegations of $3x trafficking and assualt.

It has now emerged that the former girlfriend of Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson has also been implicated in one of Diddy’s many legal cases.

Court papers seen by TMZ detail that a grand jury has commanded a Miami hotel to surrender records concerning the hip-hop mogul’s suspected visits there.

The subpoena demands that the unnamed hotel provide comprehensive data about Diddy, 54, and confidants, including Daphne Joy.

The federal prosecutors are seeking access to a wide range of information about Diddy’s visits, covering everything from stay dates, room digits, visitor history, special requests, room service and bill specifics, personal details, payment methods, to computer IP addresses, user logins, ID copies, vehicle details and security video footage, dating all the way back from Jan. 1, 2008.

Daphne is a model and actress who shares an 11-year-old son, Sire, with 50 Cent. However, the pair aren’t on good terms as the rapper commented on sex worker allegations against her.

In a lawsuit filed against Diddy by Lil Rod, he accused the rap mogul of being involved in sex trafficking, identifying Daphne as a sex worker which is a claim she denied on her Instagram.

“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL Yo this s**t is a movie,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. In response, Daphne then accused 50 Cent of rape, but was met with a defamation lawsuit from the musician, reports the Mirror US.

In a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter, he refuted the allegations, stating: “The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire.

“The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.”

This ongoing investigation follows the raiding of Diddy’s mansions in Los Angeles and Miami by Homeland Security in March, linked to a sex trafficking probe. During the raid, items such as phones, electronics, and firearms were seized, similar to some requests made in the most recent subpoena.

The rapper is currently embroiled in several lawsuits alleging rape and sexual assault, initiated by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who settled out of court with him within a day. He continues to deny the allegations levelled against him.

After the initial legal action, several more claims were levelled against Diddy, including from Lil Rod who branded the mogul a “monster” during a candid Rolling Stone interview. He detailed multiple allegations, among them sexual assault, which he expressed has deeply affected his well-being and “soul” – even hampering his ability to engage with and produce music.

Lil Rod told of his distress, saying, “It’s killing me,” and revealing how the trauma prevents him from creating music: “It’s taking me out not doing it.”

The Mirror has gained access to court documents that show Diddy refuting these claims, suggesting Rodney’s lawsuit is merely his “third attempt to dress up a run of the mill commercial disagreement as a salacious RICO conspiracy.” Moreover, he firmly rebuffs the allegation of sexual assault.

Previously, Diddy had refuted all accusations in the ongoing lawsuits. Nevertheless, a video emerged showing the rapper assaulting Cassie in a hotel, leading to Diddy posting an apology video admitting to his misconduct.

Still, he remains steadfast in challenging any further charges with persistent denials.

In a heartfelt statement, he expressed his remorse: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was fucked up – I hit rock bottom – but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

The Mirror has reached out to Diddy’s representative for comment but has not received a response at the time of reporting.
