As the stage lights came up in the Rogers Centre, Taylor Swift sauntered over to her guitar adding in a few slow motion swirls and twirls.

Her blue and purple dress glistened as she stepped up to the microphone.

“Toronto, welcome to the acoustic set,” she said to the sold-out crowd. As she explained that no two nights are the same for her acoustic set, she alluded to why she chose the succeeding mashup, “So I have to roll the dice and guess what you want to hear.”

She jumped into her Zayn Malik duet “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” from the Fifty Shades Darker movie. Swift combined it with “Mine.” The crowd yelled the “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” track back to the singer.

She smiled and strummed her guitar at the edge of the catwalk before setting down the one instrument and sitting down at the piano.

Pulling her hair to the side, the Eras Tour star adjusted the mic and placed her hands on the keys to play “Evermore,” the title track from her ninth album. After the first chorus, she mixed in “Peter” from “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Her combined message near the end of the mashup was: “Forgive me Peter, but this pain wouldn’t be evermore.”

The singer has four more nights in Toronto before heading to Vancouver. She will complete the Eras Tour on Dec. 8.
