A parent’s greatest superpower isn’t their endless patience or ability to function on only a few hours of sleep. No, it’s their ability to not laugh when your child says a bad word or accidentally falls (or, at least, not laugh too long).

You don’t want to encourage them in inappropriate behavior or make them feel bad — but sometimes kids are just so damn funny! Paris Hilton caught one of these priceless moments on video recently, marking a painful new milestone for her son Phoenix, 15 months. It’s so cute, it’s impossible not to laugh.

“Baby P’s first face plant👶🏼,” The Simple Life alum wrote on TikTok. Face plant?! Oh no! But Phoenix wasn’t hurt at all, don’t worry. In the clip, he’s sitting in a playroom surrounded by toys. He’s playing with an inflatable water toy filled with glitter and floaty toys, which babies can safely squish and entertain themselves. He leans over and accidentally falls face first into the toy, making a

And don’t feel bad for laughing — Hilton burst out laughing in the video too. As Phoenix pushes himself back up, she asks him, “Are you OK?”

He looks around, like he’s unsure what kind of reaction to have. “It’s a face plant,” Hilton told her son. Phoenix decides he’s going to try to garner sympathy, so he pretends to whimper as he scoots off the play mat.

The comments were full of love. “Aww Paris you handled it perfectly, made it silly but still asked him if he was okay while being happy 💗” Someone else said, “Hahaha I laughed out loud 😂”

“Paris is me as a mom laughing first and then the are you ok 😂 such a cutie!” someone else said. So true!

Phoenix also enjoys making his sister London, 4 months, laugh. “He pets her like a little puppy and they both have personality,” Hilton’s mom Kathy Hilton told E! News last month. “He’s dancing and she smiles. Usually a four or five month old, they just lay there and look cute. But she’s animated.”

The Paris In Love star, who shares Phoenix and London with husband Carter Reum, shared a sweet birthday tribute when Phoenix turned 1 in January. “One year ago, a beautiful angel baby entered our lives, bringing so much love and happiness🥹🩵👶🏼✨,” she said. “My precious little one, you are more than a dream come true. You make my life complete🥰 Every day with you is a priceless gift, and I’m endlessly grateful to be your mommy. 🌟🥰 Celebrating your first of many birthdays, Baby P – here’s to a lifetime of laughter, love, and wonderful adventures with our cutesie crew! 🎉✨”
