Toronto Pearson enjoying its Taylor Swift era with digital wall, unique bracelets

People flying into Toronto Pearson International Airport for Taylor Swift’s six Eras Tour shows at Rogers Centre, starting Thursday night, are getting a little something special in terms of a digital display.As of Wednesday, passengers can pose in front of a one-of-a-kind digital wall at Pearson’s international arrival area in Terminal 1 with different motion-activated screens inspired by Swift’s albums FearlessFolkloreEvermoreLover and Midnights.

 

“Toronto Pearson embraces this as a culturally significant moment for Toronto, Mississauga and Canada. People will be travelling to the city from across the country and the world to attend Taylor Swift’s concerts,” Deborah Flint, president and CEO of Toronto Pearson, said in a statement.“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Visit Mississauga for this special event. This activation is a unique way for fans to begin their musical journey as soon as they step off the plane. We are excited to add a unique and cool moment to their memories — one of the ways we put the joy back into travel.”

Toronto Pearson-branded friendship bracelets will also be handed out to fans travelling through the airport.

The installation will be accessible to passengers travelling through the airport until Dec. 12.
