Taylor Swift‘s bodyguard has been praised by her die-hard fans for protecting her during her gruelling Eras tour.

The hitmaker has been travelling the US on the first leg of her showcase, and is heading to Europe for a slew of shows in 2024.

And in a clip that’s resurfaced on social media, Taylor is seen eagerly waving to fans as she leaves the stage, while her eager bodyguard peruses the stadium for threats.

The post, which was reposted by Barstool Sports after being shared by a fan on Twitter, earned a flurry of responses from Taylor’s fans praising the bodyguard.

One wrote: ‘Bro watched The Bodyguard, he knows what’s at stake!’ while another added: ‘Give the man a raise!’

A third said: ‘Bro was looking at everyone in the crowd like…’

‘Hell yes! I’d want exactly that in a bodyguard,’ one fan tweeted.

On Friday, Taylor released her re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and already it’s making record-breaking sales.

According to Billboard, initial reports state that the 22-track anthology has already earned more than 575,000 equivalent album units in the United States.

Out of that number, 400,000 were album sales — with 225,000 of those being vinyl copies — and mark the largest sales week for that category in this year as well.

The remainder of sales make up the number of CDs, digital album download purchases, and cassette tape sales.

The last time any album had such a monumentally successful sales week was her 2022 Midnights album — which debuted with 1.14 million copies sold.

Domestically, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) was streamed more than 200 million times in the first four days.

The track that was the most listened to is her song from the vault, I Can See You, with 13 million of those on-demand official audio streams.

If the album continues to remain at number one for the rest of the tracking week, the Midnights hitmaker — who recreated the viral Spider-Man meme with her ex-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, and his wife, Taylor (Dome) Lautner — will break another record.

The 12-time Grammy winner will surpass Barbra Streisand’s record of 11, and Swift will hold the most No. 1 album debuts among all female artists with a total of 12.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is a re-recording of her third studio album — which was originally released in 2010.

As a whole, Swift has self-written and released a total of 10 original studio albums, three re-recorded studio albums, five extended plays, and four live albums.

Currently, the songstress is embarking on her ongoing sixth headlining world tour in support of not only her last album (that was not a re-recorded one), Midnights, but also to celebrate all of her ‘musical eras’.

The Eras Tour kicked off on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and is set to conclude its first leg on November 26 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Tickets for some shows from the European leg were released on Monday, with eager Swifties crashing Ticketmaster in a desperate bid to see their idol.

Earlier this month Taylor announced 14 new tour dates in Europe and the UK in addition to the concerts she had already had lined up in Dublin, Liverpool, London, Glasgow and Cardiff.
