Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, has shared his impressions of Beyonce’s highly anticipated halftime show during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens’ NFL game.

Ohanian lavished praise on the singer’s elaborate performance as she stole the show during Netflix’s inaugural Christmas Gameday.

The much-awaited performance, dubbed the ‘Beyonce Bowl,’ featured the live debut of songs from her Grammy-nominated album ‘Cowboy Carter.’

Beyonce kicked off the set with a dramatic entrance as she made her way to the stadium astride a white horse while singing ’16 Carriages’ in a stunning all-white, country-inspired ensemble.

The excitement continued as she performed crowd favorites like ‘Ya Ya’ and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em,’ with the set design including a full marching band, a denim-covered truck, and the spectacle of the singer being lifted high on a platform to close the show.

Beyonce was even joined by her daughter Blue Ivy Carter on stage, with special guests like Post Malone and Shaboozey also adding to the entertainment value.

Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, was amazed by the scale and production value of Beyonce’s set, emphasizing that it was no less than the grandeur of a Super Bowl halftime show.

“Beyonce Bowl had some Super Bowl level production 😮‍💨,” Ohanian posted on X.

Ohanian has expressed his admiration for the creativity and production of Beyonce’s performances previously as well.

The Reddit co-founder hailed the singer for transforming her white dress into a vibrant and colorful pattern with a UV light during the Renaissance World Tour last year.

“I was wondering when someone would incorporate this tech into a performance — leave it to Beyonce,” he wrote.

Alexis Ohanian’s love for Beyonce’s music also shone through in his Spotify Wrapped, given that the pop star featured as his top artist of 2024.

Williams lavished praise on Beyonce for her exceptional talent and her work ethic, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to witness the “beautiful” singer’s remarkable show.

Serena Williams also enjoys a close personal relationship with Beyonce, even appearing in the singer’s music video for ‘Sorry’ from her 2016 album ‘Lemonade,’ and showing off her dance moves. Williams later joined the pop icon on stage during a Formation Tour concert in New Jersey, and entertained the packed crowd.
