Paris Hilton brought her 14-month-old son Phoenix to the Caribbean island of St. Barts last weekend, and she shared the cutest video of him on a private jet. While we were oohing and ahhing over the little cutie, some people had a major problem with something Hilton did.

“Early flights? That’s not hot,” the A Simple Life alum quipped on TikTok. “Baby P’s already perfected the ‘This is not what I ordered’ look. A latte for mom and a bottle for me, please! ✈️🍼👶🏼💕 #JetSetBaby #NotLovingThisRunway #TooEarlyForThisCutie 😂
#SlivingMom ✨”

In the adorable video, Phoenix is wearing personalized pajamas as he sits on the comfy plane seats. He’s feeling a little grumpy as he sits all snuggled up in a pink Barbie blanket, and Hilton tries to cheer him up.

“Is this your Easter bunny?” she asks, while handing her son a stuffed bunny. He gives it a look and then shakes his head and pushes it away. Not today, Mom! Hilton then grabs one of two stuffed Hulks set up on a snack table and hands it to him. She says, “Who’s this? Hi!” in a gruff Hulk voice as she snuggles the toy against Phoenix. He looks like he is trying not to smile as he looks at the toy, but still doesn’t touch it.

Finally, Hilton pulls out the big guns to cheer him up: a chocolate sprinkled donut! He just stares at it and licks his lips, wanting it, but not wanting to give up his bad mood yet (been there!). He is seriously so cute.

People weren’t so supportive in the comments. What is it this time, you might wonder? We live in a time where celebrities are criticized for taking private jets and moms are critiqued for what they feed their kids — but that’s not why people were mad. Are you ready for it? They were upset that Phoenix was wrapped up in a pink blanket!

Yes, seriously.

“Maybe he mad about the barbie blanket lol,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “It’s the BARBIE pink blanket that upsets him😂” As if a baby would care about the color of — or the logo on — the blanket? People seriously need to chill with the outdated gender stereotypes. Colors aren’t inherently made for boys or girls; it’s just ridiculous.

Hilton responded to one comment. “Mom, I ordered a blue blanket, not pink!” one person wrote. Hilton snarkily replied, “Happy Easter 🐰 💖”

Other people defended Hilton. “Everyone so pressed about the Barbie blanket … y’all his mom is legit a Barbie, it’s prob hers & he’s cold 💗” one person wrote. (But even if it is Phoenix’s, who cares?)

“Why are people so pressed about the Barbie blanket? 😅 It’s a BLANKET and he’s a BABY who cares?! 💗💕” someone else said. Exactly.

The Paris in Love star, who shares Phoenix and 4-month-old daughter London with husband Carter Reum, is no stranger to criticism. She shared a video of her baby boy last month, writing, “Look who just started crawling👶🏼 #SlivingMom ✨.”

Instead of letting a proud mom enjoy this awesome milestone, people were quick to judge him. “Wow so late!!! most kids are walking at this age. probably cuz he’s always in the walker,” one person wrote.

Another person commented, “I agree that every child is different and I know he is happy and healthy, but we all know he would have been crawling ages ago if it wasn’t for that walker!”

It would be really awesome if people could just keep their judgemental thoughts to themselves. Especially when they are critiquing a literal baby or rudely commenting on the color of his blanket.
