Paris Hilton has been hit with a whole lot of internet BS since welcoming her kids — son Phoenix and daughter London — with husband Carter Reum last year. And it’s not just your typical and infuriating mom shamers. Back in October, busybody a—holes came for the media personality’s son after she posted a sweet picture of the then 9-month-old.

Followers had the actual audacity to comment on his looks.

“Why is his head so big? Is the little one sick? That’s not normal.”

Are you kidding me?! Being mean to a baby?! To quote SheKnows’ brilliant writer Sydni Ellis, “If you ever find yourself taking the type to type out a nasty comment to a literal baby … then maybe you should take a break from the internet for a while (forever).”

Paris shared a video on her Instagram and TikTok Stories earlier this week, per People, of her kiddos sound asleep. Phoenix was in his crib and covered with a fuzzy white blanket. “Sleepy. So cute. Oh. This little face,” she said.

We shielded our eyes as we went to see her TikTok Story comments, expecting a dumpster fire, but it was actually incredibly civil. The criticisms were still there — but this time, surprisingly, the vibe was totally different.

“Paris I love this so much! Be sure to check on safe sleep practices for your sweet little babies 🥰,” one commenter wrote. That’s because the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends keeping cribs and bassinets clear of all items (blankets, stuffed animals, pillows, etc.) when babies are in there to help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Wow. OK. That’s not what we expected and was perfectly said. We’re all about some loving constructive criticism that’s all about the babies’ safety — and not about their looks.

Hilton graciously responded saying, “Thank you for letting me know❤️.”

It’s the perfect thing to say to one mama looking out for another.

Yesterday, Hilton posted a hilarious TikTok of Phoenix trying to get into the trash can while she tells him not to. “Me telling my friend not to go back to their toxic ex,” she wrote over the clip.

“Leave the trash in the past 😂🗑️,” she captioned the post. And we hope she listens to that advice. Accept sound safety advice when necessary … but leave all the trash comments in the past.
