He clarified that, despite a quickly deleted Instagram story in June where he accused his wife of cheating, the claims were untrue.

In the interview, Offset reassured fans that he and Cardi B are in a good place. He explained that the social media drama stemmed from a private argument between the couple.

Offset, who was born in the Bronx, admitted that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his post, which contributed to his impulsive behavior.

He explained, “To be honest, me and her—that’s my wife, I love her to death. We were just switching sides. If you have a New York lady, you know she’s a pit bull at the mouth.”

Offset acknowledged that his drinking played a significant role in the misunderstanding, saying, “She gets crazy at the mouth a little bit, and I was really lit that night.

We were going back and forth, and I was like, ‘Watch this.’ But despite all that, I still love my wife.”

When asked if he felt the need to publicly retract his accusations, Offset stated that deleting the post was enough.

He emphasized that the public doesn’t always know the full story behind their relationship, saying, “By the end of the day, those people don’t really know what’s going on with us, seriously.”

Really, it was a lack of communication. We had gotten married, and our communication was good, but there wasn’t an understanding of my wants and needs.

When you don’t talk, you sometimes feel like you’re bumping heads. I was making poor choices, and I was fully aware that they were affecting my family.”

Despite the challenges, Offset is committed to his growth and his relationship with Cardi B.

He reflected on how his personal development has strengthened their bond, saying, “Why do you think she loves me the way she loves me?

It’s my growth. I’ve shown that I want to be better, that I’m serious about this. I won’t continue to play around. It’s wrong and heartbreaking.”
