Wherever Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa land, fans are showcased their captivating moments! The power couple, who have crazed the tennis world with their adorable adventures, are on their next assignment.
The duo has touched down in New York to mark their attendance at the US Open. And what do you know, the lovebirds have, yet again, engaged in an intriguing questionnaire to answer some riveting queries.
While interacting with Soho Brody in partnership with the US Open faculty, Tsitsipas and Badosa were presented with a heap load of questions.
In hopes of targeting the duo’s knowledge of their partners’ hobbies, likes, and dislikes, the Greek tennis star was asked to name a stronghold of his girlfriend’s game that he would like to inculcate in his game style. To much surprise, the former World No. 1 response name-dropped one of the most formidable players in the sport.
Tsitsipas notably stated that he’d pick the Spaniard’s return as a suitable addition to his playing technique. Furthermore, when Badosa was followed up on her lover’s response, she agreed her returns were better than the ‘Greek God.’ Subsequently, the 26-year-old wrapped his feedback by opining that the WTA star’s serve returns showcased themselves as the “Novak Djokovic of women’s tennis.“

Novak Djokovic is widely agreed to be one of the best returners on serve in tennis. In 2021, the Serb lead the charts with a 34.6% win rate on return games. Subsequently, he ranked 3rd in 2022 and 2023, with a 160.1 and 158.2 return rating.
The Greek player is not wrong in praising Badosa’s return skill. In a year where she is aiming to return to the top after a long slump due to several issues, Badosa amasses a 43.8% win rate on returns points in the ongoing season. She can especially take advantage of the second serve of her opponents, with a 56.7% win rate on second serves.
As Tsitsipas complimented Badosa’s return skills, the Spaniard found her beau’s volleys to be a strong factor. The two possess talent in areas that would complement rather well in doubles. Therefore, to wrap the North American swing on a positive note, the duo recently provided fans with an exciting update at the New York event.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa are slated to play mixed doubles at the US Open
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have been teasing tennis fans with the idea of their mixed doubles partnership. After previously pulling out from the much-anticipated team-up at the French Open and Wimbledon, the couple is finally ready to join forces at Flushing Meadows. There’s a good reason behind it as well. They were incentivized to take on the quest.
The duo recently performed in the ‘Mixed Madness’ exhibition in the Flushing Meadows. Facing formidable challenges from fellow mixed doubles pairs, the duo successfully got the better of them and pocketed a hefty $250K paycheck at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. The duo was later captured posing with the trophy on social media.
It would be absolutely bonkers for fans to witness the lovers’ take to the court in New York. However, chances are they might withdraw from the event if they contest in tiring singles matches. What are your thoughts on the duo’s possibility to commence their maiden mixed doubles run? Do let us know in the comments.
