Zayn Malik’s sister posts heartbreaking message about him in the aftermath of Liam Payne’s death
Zayn Malik’s sister, Waliyha has shared a heartbreaking message, urging fans to ‘give respect’ to the singer, in the aftermath of his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne’s shock death last month.
The 31-year-old was forced to postpone part of his upcoming tour, having been hit hard by the devastating news. Waliyha took to social media to post a gut-wrenching throwback snap of the two singers.
She shared a black-and-white picture that showed the back of Liam’s head, with his arm around Zayn. Liam rested his head on the dad-of-ones neck.

The post was captioned: ‘Give respect to Zayn, you don’t know what he’s going through. Today is a month since his brother has been gone.’
Zayn previously revealed that he postponed some of his tour dates due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. He was originally due to begin his Stairway to the Sky tour later this month.

He was originally due to kick off the gigs in Edinburgh on November 20 and 21. Now, tickets for both concerts will be valid for December 8 and 9.
Zayn posted a tear-jerking tribute to Liam last month, following his death after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on 16 October.

‘Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can’t help but think selfishly that there were so many more conversations for us to have in our lives,’ he wrote.
‘I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life. When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved.’
Liam’s body has been returned to the UK after a long wait for autopsy results in Argentina. His funeral plans are yet to be announced.
