The Bronx star performed “Think U The Sh*t (Fart).”

Latto and Ice Spice have been going back and forth for months, and even at the 2024 BET Awards, neither party was interested in taking the night off. The 25-year-old rapper called herself “The stankiest fart you ever smelt” after the Bronx star performed a record dissing her on stage.

Chronologically, Latto threw the first jabs of the night with her performance of an unreleased song, “Big Mama,” and “Sunday Service,” all of which include shots at the young star. Spice followed that up by performing “Phat Butt” and “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” aimed at her newfound enemy.

Footage surfaced of the “Big Energy” artist backstage, seemingly preparing for her part in Usher’s Lifetime Achievement tribute performance. “Bi**h, I’m the motherf**king stankiest fart you ever smelt, bi**h,” she said with a sly laugh. It seems like this tiff won’t be ending any time soon, especially as Latto promoted her forthcoming album via X (formerly Twitter) and revealed that it is titled Sugar Honey Iced Tea, which is the expanded version of the acronym “S.H.*.T.”

Latto Vs. Ice Spice has been one of the most enduring beefs of the last year. Toward the end of June, the Atlanta rapper made the latest reference to her opponent. She was set to headline Atlanta’s Birthday Bash and her team got her a cake to celebrate. The dessert was designed as the poop emoji and had “Holy Sh*t, you’re Headlining” written on it. The 777 rapper doubled-down by posting the cake on X and writing “Think I’m the s*t, bi**h?????” in the caption.

This came just a few days after Spice released her latest single “Phat Butt,” where she rapped “Hatin’ bi**hes be angry, hatin’ bi**hes, they ain’t me/ How the f**k I’m still chewin’ bi**hes in gray shorts and a plain tee?/ Mad as f**k if I was them, D&G and it’s custom/ Cuban Link with a pink gem, I’m the one who they pumpin’/ Rap bi**h on a pop chart, toastin’ bi**hes like Pop-Tarts/ You’s a flop, bi**h, knock it off, where the champagne? I’ma pop it off.”

Of course, there was Latto’s most direct diss in the form of her February record “Sunday Service,” where she dared the “Munch (Feelin’ U)” rapper to get in the booth and take her on one-on-one.

The origin of Latto and Ice Spice’s beef is still a bit unclear, though most began to take notice when Spice admitted that “Think You The Sh*t (Fart)” was directed at Latto in response to the ATL rapper playing her “Pretty Girl” music video in the background while previewing a snippet of “Sunday Service.”

“I put it out because bi**hes were being funny that day. Like why am I in the background of your weak-a** snippet?” she told fans during a X Spaces chat session.
