The Eras Tour singer was performing onstage when she noticed a fan wearing a matching costume, as seen in hilarious footage from her Warsaw show
“You look like Taylor Swift” has taken on a whole new meaning after the singer shared a cheeky joke with a fan wearing the same costume as her.
The Eras Tour performer was onstage at her show in Warsaw, Poland on Thursday when she spotted a matching outfit in the crowd. Ever the prankster, Swift didn’t let the moment pass unnoticed. Instead, she hilariously called out the fan mid-performance.
As seen in footage shared online, the singer appears to mouth a message to the stylish fan during her show. In the clip, a shocked Swift points at her jacket before motioning to the fan and mouthing: “I told you not to wear that tonight”.
The video was shared on X by the excited fan @picturetobern, who proudly showed off his blue lookalike jacket. “So make the karma jackets, take the moment and taste it,” he wrote, and fans loved the interaction.
“IT WAS YOU???? I’m so jealous,” one person replied. A second said: “I’m screaming for you bb this is SO frickin cute.” A third penned: “Omg girlie I would have died,” and another said: “This is one of the cutest interactions ever, I’m so happy for you.”
Of course, it was far from the only moment from the show that delighted fans. Several took to X to share their excitement after Swift performed a “Reputation” song in her acoustic set, sparking further speculation she might announce her re-recording of the album at tonight’s show.
For her surprise songs, the singer played a mash-up of ‘Mirrorball’ and Clara Bow’ followed by a mash-up of ‘Suburban Legends’ and ‘New Year’s Day’. The move is rather suspicious according to fans who have been counting down the days until August 2, owing to theories it could be the day Swift finally announces ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’. The songs also delighted fans who love belting out the line, “You look like Taylor Swift ” from ‘Clara Bow’. Of course, now one lucky fan can say the line really did ring true.
