Megan Thee Stallion’s two-hour documentary was released on Thursday, October 31. In it, Meg reflected on her 2022 interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.
In a clip from the documentary, referring to King’s question about any past s*xual encounters between her and Tory Lanez, she further said,
“Yes, I lied to Gayle King — I didn’t know that b*tch was finna ask me about that s*x… We was just gonna talk about this shooting — why is you asking me about Tory? That’s not what this is about.”
On the other hand, as per Revold’s April 24, 2022, report, Meg informed King that before the shooting incident, she had never engaged in a “s*xual relationship” with Lanez.
However, the rapper acknowledged lying to King during the documentary. She further admitted that Gayle’s question took her by surprise, so she chose to “BS” her way through it. Meanwhile, Frost further stated the same thing.
Additionally, as per Lifestyle’s October 31 report, Megan went on to acknowledge during the documentary, that her relationship with Lanez was more complex.
She also acknowledged that they had “hooked up once or twice” but downplayed the importance of the shooting incident, claiming it had occurred when she was drunk.
Megan Thee Stallion then stressed that the specifics of their s*xual connection has nothing to do with the assault, which left her mentally and physically damaged.
Megan claimed that Lanez had pointed a gun at her during the 2020 shooting incident and ordered her to “dance,” which resulted in his action. Lanez received a ten-year sentence for this, which his legal team is now contesting.
