Zeon Cory Bino Celebrates 60 Days of Sobriety and Reflects on Her Journey

Zeon Cory Bino, the eldest daughter of singer Fantasia Barrino, recently celebrated a significant milestone in her personal journey.

The 23-year-old took to her Threads account to announce that she has been sober for 60 days, marking what she described as one of the hardest challenges of her life.

In her heartfelt post, Bino expressed her gratitude for the support she has received throughout her journey. “Today, I celebrate one of the hardest challenges in my life,” she wrote.

“I was sick for 3 weeks, but I passed through with the grace of God. I met some amazing people on this journey and gained a community, love, and unbearable support from my family. Happy 60 days to me!”

While Bino did not specify what she had been sober from, her courage in sharing her story inspired many of her followers.

She emphasized her willingness to help others who might be struggling with similar challenges. “If you are struggling, I’m here to help and talk about my journey,” she added, offering support to those who might feel alone in their battles.

Reflecting on Her Journey as a Young Mother

In addition to celebrating her sobriety, Bino opened up about her experiences as a young mother. She shared that early in her career, producers advised her not to speak too much about being a young mom to her daughter, Zeon, who was born when Bino was still very young.

“At the time, they came to me and said, ‘Maybe don’t speak too much about your daughter because I was young,’” Bino reflected.

She recalled feeling the pressure of being judged and misunderstood, but she remained determined to show the world her true self.

“Yes, I had a child at a young age. Yes, I dropped out of school. But I am here with my gift, and my future looks bright,” she said, adding emotionally, “Maybe you can’t see it, but I can.”

Carving Her Own Path

Over the years, Bino has steadily built her own identity. As a teenager, she appeared in Fantasia’s 2017 music video for “When I Met You,” portraying a younger version of her mother.

Since then, she has continued to forge her own path, including launching her own makeup line, *Cory Beauty*, in December 2022.

In addition to Zeon, Bino has two other children: Dallas Zion Barrino, whom she had with former partner Antwaun Cook, and Keziah London Taylor, whom she shares with her current husband, Kendall Taylor.

As Bino celebrates 60 days of sobriety and continues to reflect on her journey as a young mother and entrepreneur, her story serves as an inspiration for others navigating similar struggles.
