Are Olympia and Adira Ohanian following the footsteps of her super-mom, Serena Williams? Just a few days ago, we saw Williams share glimpses of her life after retirement on social media.

In that video clip, she was spotted engaging in multiple fun activities with her daughters and she captioned that post with, “My life is very different now. Instead of chasing balls, I’m chasing #Adira and helping #Olympia with tennis lessons and cooking.

(And, all this is in-between Venture Capital calls).” Now after giving tennis lessons to her elder daughter, Serena Williams has shared a playful and heartwarming video of a tennis drill with her younger daughter, Adira.

After seeing this heartwarming video, fans are predicting that perhaps both these kids are now following in the footsteps of their mother. In the video, Adira can be seen picking up a tennis ball after Serena gets done with a light session on the court.

However, when she gets asked to place it in the basket with the other balls, she ignores the instructions of her mother and runs away. Williams can be heard saying, “Hey Adira, put it in here! She was just doing it, man. We turned on the camera, she don’t want to do it.

Serena shared the adorable video clip on Instagram with the caption, “When’s too early?” Ever since her retirement from the racquet sport, Serena Williams has remained very active on social media. She often shares glimpses of her family life.

Even her husband, Alexis Ohanian, keeps their fans updated on their daughters’ adventures. Previously, we have seen Olympia engage herself a little bit with golf, but this time after seeing Adira on the tennis courts, fans can’t keep calm. They are flooding the comment section of the post with their love and affection.

Even Alexis Ohanian commented on that post, saying, “She better be doing her drills…” After seeing this video clip, Serena Williams’ former coach, Rennae Stubbs commented, “❤️.”

While Adira’s appearance on the tennis court has sparked reactions from the fans, have we witnessed Olympia on the court in the past? Well yes, in 2023, Olympia was seen on the court in a white tank top and purple shorts as she prepared to hit a tennis ball with her backhand grip.

She shared the picture on her Instagram account with the caption, “Papa is my bally boy.” Even then, fans showered a lot of love on that post! What are they saying now after seeing Adira on the tennis court?

Fans claim Adira and Olympia, are now following in the footsteps of Serena Williams and Venus Williams

In 2018, during an interview, Serena Williams was asked if Olympia would follow in her footsteps when she grew up. Replying to it, she said, “I would hope she doesn’t play tennis. It’s a lot of work. A lot. Plus I don’t want her to have pressure from what I did, people talking about ‘are you going to be able to do as good as your mom?’. I don’t want her to have that.

Although she claimed that she wasn’t sure if she would be a great coach to help Olympia if she decided to take up the racquet sport, Serena revealed her elder sister, Venus Williams had already offered to coach Olympia if she wanted to play tennis.

Well, fans can now see Adira running on the tennis courts as well after Olympia and some of them are getting reminded of the Williams sisters. One of them wrote, “The next 2 sisters, The Ohanian’ sisters.

Together Venus Williams and Serena Williams won 30 Grand Slam titles in their careers. Their contribution to the sport is enormous! Once during an interview, Serena Williams shared the most important life lesson that she wishes to instill in her daughters.

She said, “I want my daughters to look at my career and learn that being authentic to themselves is really the most important thing. You don’t have to be the best as long as you do your best. I also hope my daughters see how many different passions I have—from tennis to beauty—and learn that they can lead dynamic careers and lives across their many interests.

Now after seeing her younger daughter running on the tennis court with her tiny steps, some of the fans feel, “Oh she is fit and ready. Niece gonna be like her aunt and mom.” Despite the excitement from the fans though, does Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian want his daughters to take up the racquet sport?

While speaking at ADWEEK’s Brandweek conference, Alexis Ohanian revealed, “We were watching the final of the World Cup in 2019 from our rented house in Wimbledon. Olympia was running around in her Alex Morgan jersey, and I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if she played on a national team one day?‘

And Serena was like, ‘Not until they pay her what she’s worth.‘ And I was like, ‘Touché, okay, challenge accepted.‘ And that’s what motivated me to buy a team and help be a part of the change.” All Serena wants is to ensure her daughter is paid, “what she’s worth“.

Serena battled for equal pay along with her sister, Venus Williams, throughout her tennis career. So, why wouldn’t she want her daughter to be paid what she is worth?

Meanwhile, Adira’s recent video clip made some of the fans feel she got the “athleticism” from her mother. A fan wrote, “Both girls stole their father’s face and their mother’s athleticism.” Surely, it will be interesting if any of these two kids eventually takes up the racquet sport like their mother or aunt in the near future.

However, in 2022, Serena Williams revealed that her elder daughter Olympia likes everything that her mother does, except tennis! She said, “She’s my little friend. We do everything together. We go on dates and it’s so good because she likes everything I do… except tennis! She’s really fun. I see a lot of my personality in her.

Not sure if Olympia is going to take up the racquet sport, but fans are pretty optimistic about it after seeing Adira’s recent video clip. Another fan commented, “@serenawilliams champion in the making, right?

Both Venus and Serena Williams took up this “one of the elite ‘country club’ sports in America,“ when not many girls took them up. Throughout their careers, they achieved remarkable feats and became an inspiration for the next generation.

Suggesting that Olympia and Asura would probably take their legacy forward, a fan wrote, “The legacy continues!“ Do you think Olympia and Adira will follow in the footsteps of Venus and Serena Williams and take up professional tennis in future?
