Exclusive: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Plan to Celebrate Christmas Together With Their Families

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing to spend the holiday season by each other’s sides.A source exclusively shared in Us Weekly’s latest cover story that Swift, 34, is planning on hosting Christmas with her and Kelce’s families. Once those celebrations wind down, the insider added that the pop star is aiming to start 2025 in a low-key way. (People reported that Swift also hosted Thanksgiving for her and Kelce’s families.)

After Swift takes a restful break from her history-making Eras Tour, ending later this month, the source noted that the pop star will begin working on a new album. The insider added that Swift is even considering going back on tour in 2026.

“She had such a great experience on Eras. She really wants to do it again,” the source said. “She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her.”

Swift, however, is reportedly not committing to any plans. “Things can change. A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the insider noted. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”

Swift and Kelce, 35, have been each other’s No. 1 supporters since beginning their relationship in summer 2023 — and their families have given the pair glowing reviews. (Swift and Kelce took their relationship public in September 2023 when she attended her first Chiefs game.)

“Both of their families love them as a couple and Taylor has become even more close with Travis’ mom,” a source exclusively told Us in March, referring to famed NFL mom Donna. “Taylor has really been integrated into the family.”

Swift has been spotted on several occasions cheering on Kelce during his NFL games alongside Donna, Kelce’s dad, Ed, and his brother, Jason. (Donna and Ed divorced after 25 years of marriage and later admitted to staying together for the sake of their two sons.)

Swift’s mom, Andrea, has also been supportive of Kelce’s career with the Kansas City Chiefs. While attending a game at Arrowhead Stadium in November, Andrea rocked a black jacket that had the phrase “In My Chiefs Era” embroidered in red on the front.

Months before, Donna reflected on her relationship with the Swifts. “It’s still really, really new, and I really appreciate it,” she told Entertainment Tonight in September. “Wonderful people, very down-to-earth, very Midwestern. Ohio and Pennsylvania are right next to each other, so we kind of understand each other, so it’s really kind of nice. It feels like home.”
