Cardi B made an impassioned speech against Donald Trump on Friday night while making her first appearance at a Kamala Harris rally, officially endorsing her for president.

The rapper and mother of three got emotional during her nearly 11-minute speech in front of a bustling Milwaukee crowd last night as she urged voters not to trust Trump with reproductive rights, the economy, and prioritizing working families. Cardi said she does not take “lightly the call to show up” and endorse Harris.

She told the crowd that she did not have faith in either candidate while Joe Biden was still running for re-election against Trump, but has since changed her mind when Harris stepped into the Democratic ticket.

“Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and still people question us on how we got to the top,” she said. “I can’t stand a bully. But just like Kamala, I always stand up to one.”

Much like Harris, Cardi said, she’s also felt like the underdog throughout her career and has had her “success belittled and discredited.”

“She’s passionate, she’s compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she’s not delusional,” Cardi continued.

Voting Harris is our best chance of stopping the irreversible damage of another Trump presidency.

Cardi continually targeted Trump throughout her speech, calling him a “hustler” and remarked on his recent comments about protecting women “whether they like it or not.”

“Donny Dump… if his definition of protection is not the freedom of choice; if his definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers, then I don’t want it,” she exclaimed.

Cardi continued: “Protection for women — especially if we’re talking about maternal and mental healthcare — isn’t telling them what to do with their bodies. It’s supporting them and giving them the care they need for what they choose to do with their bodies.”

The rapper also pointed out Trump and his conservative following’s hypocrisy when it comes to reproductive healthcare and abortion rights. Cardi said that they “don’t believe women deserve rights” but then are “nowhere to be found” when a woman is experiencing difficulties with postpartum depression, or when children are in foster care or a shelter because their “mother’s not mentally stable or financially stable to take care of them.”

Cardi B later reiterated several of her statements on X, posting snippets from her speech: “Donald Trump talks about how he has concepts of a plan… but the only concept of a plan he has is a plan to hustle YOU.”

Cardi also posted that she did “not get paid a dollar for” speaking at the rally and has been vocal about politics for years. “Before I was a celebrity I was a product of poverty for 24 years so you not gonna tell me what I want to see in MY community,” she wrote.

She also took time to respond to Elon Musk, who called her a “puppet” of the Harris campaign. Cardi quoted the post on X and wrote: “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm.”
