Hunter Woodhall expressed gratitude to Simone Biles after the gymnast expressed support for the Paris Paralympics by reminding fans to tune in.

Woodhall is scheduled to run in the men’s 100m 164 and 400m 162 Paralympic categories.

The Paris Paralympics commenced on August 28 with events slated till September 8. Biles wrote on Threads: “Don’t forget the Paralympics are on!

Woodhall delivered an impressive performance during the US Paralympic Trials as he set a national record in the 100m T64 to quality for the Games. He clocked 10.75s, surpassing his previous 11.00s mark.

Woodhall also set an American record in the 400m 162 by clocking 46.09s in the Trials. Hunter Woodhall opens up about his goals for the Paris Paralympics In a recent interview with El, Hunter Woodhali spoke about his goals for the Paris Paralympics. He was quoted as saying:

“In Tokyo, I was optimistic of like, ‘Yeah, I want to win the gold medal.’ But this year, I know I have it within myself to win. I know I can be the best. And I know that I have made every right decision, and I speak for Tara as well, that whatever the result ends up being at the Games, I didn’t leave anything on the table.”

“They were just better than me on that day. And that’s that. So I can go in with a confidence that I’m just going to give it my best shot,” he added.

The American para-athlete won two medals at the 2016 Rio Games. He won a silver in the 200m T44 after clocking 21.12s and a bronze in the 400m T44 with a time of 46.70s. The 25-year-old also competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics where he won a bronze medal in the 400m T62.

Now, Woodhall is poised to compete in his third Paralympic Games and will be seen competing in the 100m T64 heats on September 1. The finals of the dash will be held on September 2. He will also be competing in the 400m T62, which is slated to be held on September 6.
