Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo calls himself a “complete player” but admits there are still things he needs to improve.

Sharing on UEFA’s official website about the goals he set for himself even though he had achieved almost everything possible, Ronaldo frankly said: “Year after year, we always try to improve some things.” definitely. There’s always room for improvement. I think I’m a well-rounded player but there are always things I can improve on.

As we get older, there are things we weren’t good at before and we start to lose some abilities. Therefore, it is important to try and adapt. That’s the point. If a player wants to have a long career, they need to have strong adaptability and the personality for that adaptability. 

That’s what I was trying to do. It’s no coincidence that I’ve been competing at the highest level for 20 years and maintaining that level of performance is very difficult. Only with dedication and hard work can we achieve those numbers.”

Ronaldo has become the first player to appear in 5 EURO finals, and that record is about to reach new heights when CR7 and Portugal compete at EURO 2024.
