Fans have been left in disbelief at the pay-per-view price for the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight next month.
The two have been going back and forth for what feels like forever now, but the bout fell through on two occasions.
Their encounter was first set to take place in December 2021 but Fury pulled out due to a chest infection and broken rib.
Paul fought former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley for a second time instead and the contest was rearranged for August 2022.
This time, however, travel issues meant Fury couldn’t get into the United States and so it was nixed again.
But it could be third time lucky as Paul and Fury are slated to finally lock horns on Sunday February 26.
As per ESPN, it will be an eight-round bout, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the event is in partnership with Top Rank.
The 185lbs grudge match is to be shown live on ESPN+ in America but viewers will have to fork out $49.99 to watch it.
And predictably, fans were furious with the pay-per-view price set given the caliber of fighters involved.
One fan joked: “That’s tremendous value, I’d happily have paid at least $89.99 to watch these two world-class athletes box.”
Another commented: “Imagine paying $50 to watch Tommy Fury.”
A third said: “Imagine watching this, let alone paying to watch this…”
A fourth wrote: “@ESPN Imma need y’all to chill out with these high ppv prices alright. I would love to watch a fight legitimately.”
A fifth opined: “This might be worth it if they threw in a $50 Home Depot gift card or something of similar value?”

The fight will be broadcasted in the UK by BT Sport thanks to Fury’s affiliation with Frank Warren’s Queensbury promotions, though there is no word on price just yet.
Commenting on the fight, 8-0 Fury said: “Jake Paul’s boxing career ends on Feb 26th. Every time I go out, everybody asks about the Jake Paul fight. After this is done, everybody will be asking how it felt to knock Jake Paul out. The world is about to see what happens when a proper boxer faces a YouTuber.”
Paul is finally facing a boxer in his seventh professional fight, having fought MMA fighters. And he’s promised to deliver in his toughest test yet.
