There was no shortage of glitz on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet, thanks in part to a plethora of glittering accessories worn by the world’s biggest celebrities.

With a theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fahion” and a dress code of “The Garden of Time,” the stars leaned into romantic, indulgent fashion. To amplify the glamour, many opted for glittering diamonds, floral-inspired gems and other unique creations.

And, of course, there were carats upon carats upon carats.

Cardi B shut down the red carpet with the largest dress of the evening — and perhaps even in Met Gala history. Along with her voluminous black dress and beehive-style headpiece, the rapper accessorized with glitzy green jewels.

Her massive green necklace, earrings and rings not only matched the greenery inside the event (nodding to “The Garden of Time” dress code) but also her long green nails.
