The star recently performed at a pre-wedding gig in India
Rihanna is undoubtedly one of the biggest female pop stars of all time, but despite millions of loyal fans all over the globe, she’s only performed a handful of times in recent years.
The musician turned business mogul has spent much of the last decade focusing on her companies, Fenty Beauty, Fenty and Savage X Fenty, as well as becoming a mother to two children.
So, you can understand why the hitmaker has been causing quite a stir online after recently performing at a private gig, during the wedding of the son of India’s richest man.

The wedding was for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant – with Anant‘s father, Mukesh Ambani, having a net worth of $114 billion.
The pre-wedding do had more than 1,000 invitees, from the likes of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg to Ivanka Trump.
Rih Rih was reportedly paid an eye-watering $6.3 million for the 90-minute set, but despite the ginormous fee, the star has faced criticism for her performance.
After a clip of the performance went viral, many fans summized that she “just don’t give a f***” about performing anymore, now that she’s an entrepreneur and mother.
However, another viral clip of the gig has been going viral for entirely different reasons, with people on X, formerly Twitter, branding it the best advert for an iPhone camera.
In the clip, which was shared by fan account FentyStats, Rihanna can be seen performing to All of the Lights from the top of a podium, while dancing in a lime green, sheer, sparkling dress.
Although the clip is clearly zoomed right in on the star, it provides a decent quality image of the Umbrella star’s performance.
However, halfway through the video, the person filming zooms back out, revealing just how far away they’re actually sitting from the stage – and all of a sudden, Rihanna and her fellow performers become completely impossible to see.

android users stop getting hype
Another X user, who goes by the handle kirawontmiss, wrote: “This is unintentionally the greatest ad for android, the zoom out was crazy.”
The clip has since been revealed to have been filmed on an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The person behind the original video, johmasse, wrote on Instagram: “Yall asking me which phone I used to record the vids. This is the phone: Apple 13 Pro Max. I’m not an android user and never will be, no shade.”
Whoever thought we’d see the day that Rihanna would be outshone by a camera phone?
