Wynonna Judd ‘caring for’ grandchild Kaliyah, 2, after her troubled daughter Grace Kelley’s indecent exposure arrest

WYNONNA Judd is raising her two-year-old granddaughter Kaliyah Chanel while the toddler’s mom faces legal troubles.

The country icon, 60, recently opened up in an interview with Us Weekly about raising Kaliyah with her husband of 12 years, Cactus Moser.
When asked how she unwinds after getting off stage, the singer said that her routine looks different now that she’s looking after her granddaughter.
“Well, I’m raising Kaliyah, so it’s different than it was,” she told the outlet.
“Sometimes I go out and I walk in the woods and just stand there and cry and laugh and cuss and pray. That refills me with what I need to go back out there and give again.”

Wynonna also said that she talks to Kaliyah about her mom, the late country legend Naomi Judd, who died in April of 2022 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
When asked when she feels Naomi’s presence the most, Wynonna revealed a sweet tribute to her family.
“When I’m on stage. And when I’m with Kaliyah,” she answered.
“She carries a picture of Mama around and a picture of her and her mom. I talk to her about them and say, ‘They love you very much.'”
Wynonna said that Kaliyah is even following in her family’s footsteps by starting to sing with her grandma.

“We’ve started singing together,” she told the outlet.
“My favorite thing in life is to sit on the porch with her and eat ice cream. She’s in the rocking chair and she [says,] ‘Noni, where are you going? Noni, what are you doing?’
“Being with her in those moments [is] where I realized no amount of money can ever make you this happy. I thought it would, but it doesn’t,” she continued.
“Lying in the bed with her before bedtime and her putting her nose against mine and me singing to her, and she’s starting to sing back… [it’s] heaven on earth.”
Meet Wynonna Judd’s kids

Wynonna Judd has two kids with her ex-husband, Arch Kelley III.
The former couple share a son named Elijah Judd and a daughter named Grace Pauline Kelley.
Elijah was born on December 23, 1994, and named after his great, great, great grandfather.
Elijah has been married to Hailey Williams since October 17, 2020.
Grace was born on June 21, 1996. Nearly a year later, Wynonna revealed to the Tampa Bay Times that she almost died while giving birth to Grace.
Grace welcomed her own daughter, Kaliyah Chanel, on April 13, 2022.

It’s unclear how long Kaliyah has been living with Wynonna, but the toddler’s mom was arrested on April 5 after removing her clothes in public.

LEGAL TROUBLES
Grace was booked by Alabama police after allegedly exposing her breasts and lower body in front of a busy highway.
She was put in handcuffs for “indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations,” per police reports.
The country star’s daughter reportedly refused to cooperate with the police once they arrived at the scene.
The arrest wasn’t Grace’s first run-in with the law as she formerly faced several drug-related charges.

Before the indecent exposure charge, she was previously arrested on May 1, 2023.
