SHANIA Twain has kicked off her new Las Vegas residency as fans continue to question her unrecognizable appearance.The Grammy-winning country artist shared new Instagram photos while performing on the Bakkt Theater stage in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shania, 58, was seen wearing multiple costumes and wigs as she sang around her set and in front of various projections.

The artist had long, bleached blond hair and wore outfits that clung to her body and showed off her slim figure.

“And we’re BACK!” Shania declared in the caption as she kicked off her residency.

While the country star may have been made up for the stage, some critics called her out for looking unrecognizable in the photos.

“Who is this?” one person asked in the comments, later writing in the thread, “I don’t recognize her anymore.”

“Time to dump those silly wigs. You look great without wigs and Botox. C’mon!! You’re better than this,” a second wrote.

“Be proud of getting older Shania! It’s something most people do not have that privilege to do!” a third said.

“Who is this? This isn’t actually Shani, the crush of my youth… miss her,” a person stated.

“Facelift,” another speculated, while someone else asked, “Where’s our real Shania?”

Others chimed in to defend the Still The One singer, with one commenting, “Shania Twain is 56, not 35 anymore.”

Last week, fans had a similar reaction to Shania’s look as she debuted her dramatic hair transformation.

Just weeks before, Shania displayed a blonde look ahead of her American Idol mentor appearance.

While she mainly had brown or blond hair throughout her career, she shared a new Instagram photo with baby pink locks.

The shot was an unused snap from her Haute Living April cover story photoshoot, where she smiled wide and let the pink hair fall over her face.

“Expect me to be coloring my hair, doing what I dare in Vegas, sorry not sorry!!” Shania wrote in her caption.

Fans commented on the different look, with one writing, “That picture does not even come close to looking like you.”

“Who is this?” a second wrote, while another added, “Been a fan for years, had no idea who this was.”

Others said they loved the new color and compared her to other celebrities, such as Sofia Vergara and Denise Richards.

In her interview with the publication, Shania opened up about wanting to cover up the grey strands in her hair.

“It’s funny – the reason that I even experimented with the pink was because I’m going grey,” she said.

“And now I’m thinking that when I’m entirely grey, maybe I should just dye my hair at that point and rock the pink.

“It’s the way I feel when I have that color on,” she continued. “It makes me feel youthful.”

“I don’t need to look younger in my own mind. It’s not a goal of mine, but I do like to feel refreshed, and the pink hair does that. It’s awesome,” she added.

SKINCARE SECRETS

When it comes to keeping her youthful glow, Shania recently admitted she hasn’t touched real makeup remover in years.

Instead, she uses a homemade skin scrub made of only two kitchen ingredients.

In a tutorial for Harper’s Bazaar, the Honey, Im Home singer revealed that she mixes white sugar and olive oil together to create a face scrub.

“I just mix that in the palm of my hand,” she said. “I don’t use make-up remover, per se.

“I really just combine the olive oil and the sugar. I don’t rub it in hard, I’m just softly doing this,” she added.
