Justin Bieber was pictured running on the sidewalk Sunday in New York City, where he’s been pictured throughout the weekend with wife Hailey Bieber, as they’re expecting their first child.
The Canadian pop star, 30, donned a casual summer ensemble of a short-sleeved button-up shirt with light blue elastic waist shorts, a gray ballcap and orange sunglasses.
The Grammy-winning singer didn’t have his sneakers on for the brief sprint, going with a pair of brown leather Mary Jane shoes.
The Peaches artist sported a beard as he held his phone in his hand on the daytime outing in the Big Apple. It was not immediately clear why he went from walking to running during the outing.
The Love Yourself singer and his spouse, the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin, revealed they were expecting their first child in a May 9 Instagram post.
The clip posted to social media displayed footage from the couple’s vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii, after they initially tied the knot in September 2018.
The show business couple was congratulated upon making their big announcement by a number of fellow celebrities including Demi Lovato, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kaia Gerber, among others.
In addition to his pending fatherhood, it’s been a busy timeframe for the Intentions vocalist, amid a number of developments impacting those in his professional orbit.
Bieber fired his business manager Lou Taylor, whose Tri Star Sports And Entertainment Group he had been in business with since late 2022, Dailymail.com reported earlier this month.
Bieber had collaborated with Taylor’s Tri Star Sports And Entertainment Group in regards to multiple businesses he owns, including Bieber Time Touring LLC, Justin Bieber Brands LLC and Bieber Time Merchandise.
‘Justin’s split with Lou was not amicable,’ a source said. ‘He fired her. People generally stay with their accountant for ages and Justin was only with Tri Star for two years.’
The source noted that Bieber’s ‘financial affairs are now being handled by his new accountant/business manager Edward White,’ who has worked with actor Johnny Depp.
In addition, his longtime manager Scooter Braun last week announced he was pivoting his efforts away from music management and toward his position as Hybe America’s CEO and a Hybe board member.
Braun, 43, issued a statement declaring the end of a chapter in his career, saying, ’23 years ago a 19 year old kid started managing an artist named Cato in Atlanta, GA and my journey began.
‘Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of,’ he said. ‘I have been blessed to have had a “Forrest Gump”-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen.
‘I’m constantly pinching myself and asking “how did I get here?” And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.’
Braun said that ‘it was time to step into a new role’ as he adapts to a new role that won’t require him to be ‘on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,’ as a father of three kids with ex-wife Yael Cohen.
‘As my children got older, and my personal life took some hits, I came to the realization that my kids were 3 superstars I wasn’t willing to lose,’ he said. ‘The sacrifices I was once willing to make I could no longer justify.’
