Cardi B when it comes to her kids. She feels the need to protect her children and is not tolerating any fake love. Initially, she posted on her Instagram stories, saying:

“I grew up poor but with so much love from both my mom and dad’s side of the family. I will not accept anything less for my children. I will not accept fake love for my kids. My family is enough.”

Then, she went live and doubled down on her statement. Although she didn’t name anyone specifically, there’s speculation that she’s talking about Offset’s mom. This speculation arose after Offset’s mom posted about their daughter, Kulture, on her IG stories, praising her reading skills and emphasizing the importance of her education.

“Let me keep it real sweet before I get really nasty. I will not accept fake love for my kids. Don’t post my kids with that fake love. Don’t try me because I’m being really nice right now. If people don’t want to understand what I’m telling them in private, I will make it public and light a match in this place. You want to take advantage of my kindness? You want to manipulate and gaslight me? I won’t let that happen with my children. There’s your warning.

So, I told people to stop playing with me, but they keep doing it. It’s annoying. Just because I’m ghetto or emotional, people think they can gaslight and manipulate me. But little do they know, I’m very understandable. When I’ve had enough, that’s when I go live. If you think you can gaslight me with your nonsense, I will go public so you can understand me better. It’s bad enough you don’t hold yourself accountable, but don’t act like I need to be held accountable, especially when it comes to my kids.

I did not grow up like a dog. I had a huge family with both my mom and dad involved, plus every aunt, uncle, and grandparent. I will not accept anything less for my kids. You don’t have to like me, but you will respect my kids. If you can’t love my kids properly, don’t interact with them or talk about them.

I can say my baby father is a great dad, I’ll give him that. But anyone else, don’t mess with my kids. I’m being nice until people stop talking to me like I’m easy to manipulate or gaslight. Every time I feel manipulated or gaslighted, I’ll come on here and show you. If you don’t understand in private, I’ll make you understand publicly. I’m nice when I want to be nice, but when I’ve had it up to here, everyone knows my Libra moon comes out. I don’t care who gets hurt, I will protect myself and my children. This is not for publicity; it’s just that people think because I’m ghetto, they can manipulate me privately. So, I’ll make them understand publicly because that’s the only way to get through to them.”
