Rapper Cardi B recently took to her Instagram story to ask fans to provide her with their Netflix login credentials.
She spilled that she was hanging out at a hotel “out of town” and didn’t have access to her own login information at that time.
“Can anybody share their email or their password with me? Like, DM it to me. Thank you,” the Bodak Yellow rapper said.
She then promised her followers that if given their info, she would “only use it until the morning,” claiming that she wasn’t “going to abuse it.”
The star told her 167 million followers that she was trying to watch the HBO hit series, Sex and the City, while she was away.
The video was reshared to X, where social media goers slammed the celeb for not paying for the popular streaming service herself.
One person posted: “Don’t you have enough money to where she could just make a new Netflix account like be for real.”
“Na sis go ahead and pay the damn 10 bucks,” another said, while a third asked, “It’s like $13 she can’t afford that?”
Another angry person complained: “So you mean to tell me she could take five minutes to make a new email and make a new Netflix account.”
“She’s gonna try to use one of her fans’ Netflix accounts which will probably be activated. Make it make sense,” the X user finished.
A last person said, “Plot twist: Offset signed her out.”
This comment references the recent speculation that Cardi B cheated on husband Offset, 32 following a suspicious tweet from the Migos rapper saying she was unfaithful.
He later claimed that the post came out of a moment of anger, and is not truthful.
