Fury was enjoying some time off in Thailand and met some fans at a gym but ended up on the receiving end of a punch.
Tyson Fury was left rather surprised by a fan punching him in the face during a light spar session, as he entertained supporters.
In an ideal world Fury would have taken on Oleksandr Usyk back in April and now be looking towards his next fight or potentially enjoying retirement.
Unfortunately that’s not how heavyweight boxing seems to work these days and instead we’re waiting for the Gypsy King to announce his next opponent.
He has most recently called out Anthony Joshua but very few fans are taking his call outs very seriously anymore, after being let down one too many times.
Instead the WBC heavyweight world champion is having some time off in Thailand and took an opportunity to visit some fans.
He visited the Bangtao Muay Thai and MMA gym and sparred with some fans during a meet and greet, with one of them catching him with a shot as you can see in the video below.
“There was a split second there, just a split second, before he started joking that Fury was pissed. He definitely contemplated a solid jab for a moment,” joked one fan.
“Fury’s next opponent confirmed, here we go,” added a second.
On what the holiday means for the 34-year-old’s future fights, another supporter commented: “Doesn’t look like he’s fighting anytime soon if he is jetting here/there and everywhere.”
“Southpaw. Zhang fight may have been interesting,” noted a fourth on one of the prospective next opponents for the Mancunian boxer.
“More power in that than anything AJ has thrown for a few years to be fair,” said another, bightingly.
And another stated: “More than Chisora landed in three fights.”
Last month the undefeated champion was claimed to be lining up a fight with unknown Australian Demsey McKean, which didn’t exactly please fans.
With the Joshua and Usyk fights still looking unlikely any time soon it is anyone’s guess who he will face as his next opponent.
UFC president Dana White has challenged him to get into the octagon and have his MMA debut against UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
