The highly-anticipated boxing match between the legendary Mike Tyson and YouTube star Jake Paul has received a significant update that will disappoint fans.
On Friday, Netflix announced that the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match has been postponed to “a date later this year” because of a “flare up” regarding Tyson’s ulcer. Netflix added that will be announced at a later date.
Per Andreas Hale of ESPN, the following statement was released on the decision to postpone the match:
“During a follow up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations.”
The showdown between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul was announced back in March. The event was scheduled to take place at the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys’ home venue of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The stadium has a capacity of over 80,000.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Will Be Worth The Wait
