The Kardashians may have a million jobs but being a lawyer is not one as Kim Kardashian made fun of herself for not having passed the bar exam.
Kim’s Instagram has been a flurry of activity recently, with the 42-year-old sharing a snap of her toned tummy and debuting a new haircut which divided opinion.
Amid her fashion-forward posts, the Skims founder also reminded us why we love her as she poked fun at her own expense for not having passed the bar exam.
Back in 2018, Kim registered with the California State Bar to train to become a lawyer although she kept this hidden from the public for a year.
Six years later she has confirmed that she still has not completed the necessary exam to become a certified solicitor, known as the bar.
Kim posted a picture of Snoopy artwork to her Instagram story, which said: ‘I ain’t passed the bar but I know a lil’ bit.’
The artwork quotes Jay-Z’s lyrics (Picture: Instagram/Kim Kardashian)

The quote is a lyric from Jay-Z’s song 99 Problems, coming from a thought bubble above a studious-looking Snoopy’s head.
It’s not clear if the artwork is in her home or just something she spotted out and about but we’re loving Kim’s self-awareness.
Kim’s legal training was a major plot point a few seasons ago on the Kardashians’ reality shows, however, fans have been wondering what the latest update is.
The American Horror Story star has been studying and working with attorneys Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney to prepare for this career move.
She first took the ‘baby bar’ in Summy 2020, which is the first-year exam which only around 20% of students pass.
On her first attempt, she scored 474 – the score needed to pass is 560.

Undeterred Kim took the test again later the same year and unfortunately did even worse at 463.
In August 2021, the reality star once again took the exam declaring she would start ‘questioning’ herself if she didn’t pass this time, which she did not.
Finally, in December 2021, Kim confirmed on The Kardashians that she had finally passed the baby bar exam.
‘I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years,’ she revealed on Instagram. ‘But I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!’
It’s been pretty quiet on the legal front from the mum of four, however, this new post confirms that Kim still has not taken and passed the bar exam.

‘I’m probably going to take the bar in February 2025,’ Kim said at the 2023 Time100 Summit in New York City, citing the low 36% pass rate as a deterrent.
