Things got heated.
John Fury attempted to fight Mike Tyson during a chaotic press conference ahead of Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou this Saturday.
The boxing bout will take place between undefeated heavyweight boxing champion Fury and MMA star Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
A press conference was held on Thursday evening to build up the fight – and it got heated between John Fury and Mike Tyson, who has helped to train Ngannou ahead of his first professional boxing bout.
While relations remained rather cordial between the two fighters actually involved in action on Saturday, with various jokes shared, it was a different story when Fury’s father got involved.
The 59-year-old repeatedly called out Tyson for a fight throughout the press conference, a challenge which Tyson eventually ‘agreed’ to after much prompting.
But things almost hit a tipping point when both John and Tyson were asked to give their closing remarks.

And after Tyson taunted the elder Fury by announcing Ngannou as the winner of the fight, John was having none of it.
He rose from his seat before skipping over to Ngannou’s side of the room, repeatedly shouting: “You wanna fight me?”
But he was stopped by security, who guided him back to his seat.
In other notable moments, John called Ngannou’s veteran coach Dewey Cooper a ‘nobody’, before taking his shirt off and getting involved in the traditional face-off between the two fighters at the end of the press conference.
While boxing fans might have laughed off a fight between 59-year-old John Fury and 57-year-old Mike Tyson in the past, recent times have shown that anything’s possible in boxing.
When asked about a fight with Tyson in a more calmer setting prior to the press conference, John replied: “Listen, let me tell you this much. I respect Mike Tyson. I named my son after him.
“But I’m a fighting man. I’ve got a warrior’s heart. I’m in Saudi. Bring it on!”
