Cardi B’s story about the Los Angeles Police Department did not happen, according to a department source.

Cardi went on a rant on social media and said she was suing the LAPD.

“They had all the helicopters in LA Yo, I was freaking out. They left me outside for about three hours. They let me get stark naked outside. Yo, it was crazy. It was a dead movie and whatever, but you get the idea. I’m in the process of suing the LAPD. I told them, ‘Hey, I’m Cardi B. Do I look like I have some shit to sell?’ Why should I do that? “I would never do shit like that,” she told her fans.

Speaking to TMZ, the source says Cardi’s comments don’t appear to be “based on reality” and that there’s “no evidence it ever happened.”

The source believes that Cardi was just joking with her fans as there is no report of such an incident.
