Taylor Swift may be known for supporting Travis Kelce’s NFL career (like her widely talked about Super Bowl appearance), but there’s no bigger fan than his mom, Donna Kelce.

But while Donna has been on the sidelines most of his career, that doesn’t mean Travis is prepared for Mother’s Day.

During an April 29 appearance on Today, host Hoda Kotb asked Donna, “Are those two boys of yours good gift givers for Mother’s Day?” While Travis is estimated to have a net worth of $50 million, his older brother and fellow NFL star Jason Kelce has a personal fortune valued at $30 million.

Why Travis Likely Won’t Celebrate Mother’s Day

Despite their high net worth, Donna candidly admitted her sons aren’t great at gift giving, replying, “Boys usually aren’t.”

Moreover, the Kelce matriarch admitted she’s “very rarely” in the same place as her boys for Mother’s Day, give their hectic schedules, so they often don’t do anything to celebrate.

“It’s their off-season,” Donna continued. “So they‘re off. They’re off and running and doing their own thing, but that’s OK. I have so many blessings that I don’t even care.”

While mama Kelce didn’t reveal what her plans are for this year’s Mother’s Day, her comments suggest she may not be celebrating it with her boys or Taylor. In fact, she may not have seen the pop star in a while.

Earlier this month, when expressing curiosity over which songs are about Travis (and admitting she plans to talk to Taylor about it), Donna said she heard Taylor’s new album The Tortured Poets Society on the day it came out, like the rest of the world. Travis, however, reportedly listened to it before it debuted, though he hasn’t publicly reacted.

Travis Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, are well known in the sports world thanks to their dedication to their boys’ career. Ed previously worked as a lineman for a utility company, while Donna served as a custodian at Cleveland Heights High School.

The couple are well known figures on the side lines of their sons’ games, and now Swift has become known for joining them in their box.

The Kelce Family May Get Their Own Reality Show

Fans may be seeing a lot more of the Kelce family, especially if recent reports that they’re being considered for a reality show are true.

“Producers are sniffing around the entire Kelce family, especially Jason and his wife Kylie,” a source told Radar Online . “The idea is to make them a more relatable version of the Kardashians.”

“The level of interest in the Kelces since Travis started dating Taylor has not gone unnoticed in Hollywood, but it’s also very clear that they’re super thirsty for attention,” they went on. “[Jason and Travis are] embracing every moneymaking opportunity that comes along and they have no problem oversharing, so a reality show seems to be a no-brainer.”

Though the Kelce family has expressed safety concerns amid Travis’ high profile romance with Taylor, it seems their entire star power is only going to grow, especially if they wind up on T.V.
