Taylor Swift has told her fans she is having the “most fun” of her life on her Eras Tour, which has seen her perform in venues across the UK, including a show in Edinburgh on Friday

Taylor Swift is thoroughly enjoying her Eras Tour, describing it as “the most fun” she’s ever had.

The Grammy-winning singer performed at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Friday, and couldn’t help but express her love for the tour to her fans, calling it the best experience of her “entire life”.

Addressing the crowd, Taylor, 34, confessed: “My one regret before now is that I really should have come to perform in Scotland more. I can’t stop staring at you. I’m captivated by this audience.”

The concert saw Taylor belt out some of her most popular hits, such as ‘Cruel Summer’ and ‘The Man’, and she expressed her gratitude to the Scottish fans for their warm reception. The pop sensation announced: “Tonight’s concert is the most highly attended show in Scottish history.”

She added: “That is the wildest way to welcome a lass. After tonight, you’re going to think about us and the memories we made.”

During the performance, Taylor even noticed a couple getting engaged in the crowd. The chart-topping artist, who is currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce, remarked: “I’m pretty sure I just saw an engagement … that’s a pretty big moment … thanks for doing it here.”

It’s reported that Taylor’s concerts are set to inject nearly £1 billion into the UK economy. The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer has 15 dates lined up across June and August, with over a million fans expected to flock to her shows.

Dr Peter Brooks, the chief behavioural scientist at Barclays, recently stated: “When it comes to cultural icons like Taylor Swift – like we saw with Elvis and Beatlemania in the 50s and 60s – supporters have such a strong connection to the artist and to the rest of the fandom that the desire to spend becomes even more powerful.”

“For non-fans, £848 may seem like an enormous amount to splash out on a concert, but for Eras Tour ticket-holders, every pound they spend is an investment in the memories they’ll create.”

How to buy Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets

Taylor Swift fans looking at resale tickets for the upcoming Eras Tour in the UK can purchase them from from a number of online retailers right now.

Sites such as viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee.”

Although the above sellers, including viagogo and Vivid Seats, are not “official” retailers, they do have a number of strict terms and conditions in place to keep ticket buyers and ticket sellers safe.
