Kim Kardashian has candidly discussed the difficulties she faces in disciplining her four children, whom she co-parents with ex-husband Kanye West.

In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” the 43-year-old reality star shared her struggles in maintaining discipline with her kids, North (10), Saint (8), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5).

“I want to be more strict like Khloé, but I don’t know why I have a hard time just saying no is no,” Kim confessed. She expressed a desire to adopt a firmer parenting style similar to that of her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian.

Reflecting on her role as a single parent since her split from Kanye in 2021, Kim admitted, “Sometimes, it just gets a little intense.” She highlighted the challenge of balancing her responsibilities as a mother and her entrepreneurial endeavors.

Kim acknowledged that her children are adept at knowing when to push her buttons. “They know when to con me,” she admitted. “They’ll start with the tears, so I’m like, ‘Stop, stop. Sure, take the iPad. Just stop.’” This tendency to give in during moments of fatigue or stress led her to describe herself as a “pushover.”

One particular incident stood out to Kim. She recalled confiscating North’s mobile phone, only to return it the next day. “I know I have to get it together,” she acknowledged, emphasizing her need to be more consistent in enforcing rules.

Balancing work and motherhood has become increasingly challenging for Kim. She recounted a chaotic scene where she locked herself in a bathroom during a work-related Zoom meeting to escape the noise. “I had a Zoom,” she explained. “Kids were at the house banging on my door, just screaming.”

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021, ending nearly seven years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in November 2022, with the former couple agreeing to joint custody of their four children.

Despite the challenges, Kim remains committed to finding a balance and providing the best for her children. Her openness about her parenting struggles resonates with many single parents navigating similar challenges.
