In an emotional moment, Angelina Jolie dropped her eldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt off to college on Wednesday.
The Oscar-winning actress appeared to be on the verge of tears as she spoke to a group of students at Yonsei University – where Maddox will be studying bio-engineering.
Surrounded by students, the mother-of-six was asked how long she would be staying in Seoul.
To this disappointment of her audience, the star replied, “I leave today, today is the day that I drop him off.”
As the students groaned at the news, Angie then clutched her chest as though she was about to cry.
“I know, I’m trying not to cry,” she said, throwing her hands up.

“Yes it’s time, thank you very much, it seems like a great school,” Angelina continued.
“I’m sure you’re all going to like it here.”
According to the Daily Mail, Maddox has been learning the Korean language from a tutor.
A college student shared a photo with the Maleficent actress, saying “Thank you miss Jolie for having a 40 seconds conversation with me!”
In a detailed video on YouTube, the student recalled the conversation he had with Angie, revealing that Maddox is studying bioengineering and confirming that he will be living in a dorm room and not off-campus.
The source added that Angelina – who was appointed Special Envoy by UNICEF in 2012 – was kind and Maddox was quiet.

When Maddox’s school was announced in April, Angelina told People that she was “nothing but proud.”
The 18-year-old’s adopted father Brad Pitt was not present to see Maddox off – their relationship has been reportedly strained since their heated altercation on a private plane three years ago.
According to UsWeekly, the incident was the trigger for Angelina filing for divorce from Oscar-winner.
A source revealed that Maddox – who was adopted by Angelina from Cambodia in 2002 – remains very close with his mother but not so much with Brad.
“Brad hasn’t been spending much time with Maddox lately,” an insider said.
UsWeekly also reported that Brad only found out Maddox was attending school in South Korea this summer.

Angelina married Pitt in 2014, however, the couple had been in a relationship since 2005 when they fell in love on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith (while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston).
The Hollywood power couple share Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and 11 year-old twins Knox and Vivienne between them.
