Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson embraced a playful alter ego, dressing up as a bee, before sharing his rationale for delivering a series of punches to a fellow passenger.

During a JetBlue flight, Tyson found himself in a slightly uncomfortable situation as an enthusiastic fan persistently bothered him from behind.

When the former undisputed ruler reached his limit, he engaged in an altercation with an unfortunate individual named Melvin Townsend III, resulting in a minor injury on Townsend’s forehead.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, Tyson honestly admitted that he was under the influence of cannabis, which, coupled with his short temper that day, led to regrettable actions.

“Listen, I usually handle these situations well,” Tyson expressed to Kimmel. “But I made a mistake. It should have never occurred.

“That behavior reflects my primal instincts from childhood. I shouldn’t have resorted to that, but I was tired, irritated, high, and frustrated. These things happen.

He further emphasized, “I never intend to cause harm to anyone.”

Melvin Townsend consulted with legal counsel before deciding not to pursue any legal action against Tyson. However, there are individuals who still believe that Townsend had the right to seek compensation from Mike Tyson.

Fortunately, Townsend has not sought any form of publicity or attention regarding this embarrassing incident.

According to Townsend’s legal advisor, who spoke with TMZ, “Our client is a devoted fan of Mike Tyson. Initially, their interaction on the plane was friendly and amicable.

“However, at a certain point, Mr. Tyson clearly became agitated by an overly enthusiastic fan and proceeded to engage in an excessive physical altercation.

“This entire situation could have been avoided had the flight attendant been notified. Our client denies throwing a water bottle prior to being struck by Mr. Tyson.”

Tyson swiftly moved on from the incident and was soon seen attending another event. He also made a commitment to never travel by passenger flight again. However, that promise lasted only a few weeks.

“The Baddest Man on the Planet” has returned to flying commercially, so let this serve as a cautionary message to fans who may consider making requests from Mike while on a flight.

During his appearance on Kimmel, Mike Tyson playfully wore a bee-themed outfit, confidently expressing his self-perceived beauty. This choice puzzled some fellow boxers, who questioned his motivations for such attire.

The lighthearted act was simply meant for amusement, as Tyson also playfully surprised fans who were unknowingly discussing him while he stood nearby.
