First and foremost, I want to express my deep empathy for the fans. You were sold and told a story that did not conclude the way it was promised to me, either. Your frustration is valid, and I understand why you reach out to me at airports, bus stops, and everywhere else.

It’s not easy to answer these questions, but I know you deserve clarity. Sometimes I wonder if the executives at Starz or Curtis himself are behind these inquiries, but it genuinely feels like it’s just me and you. The way “Power” was supposed to unfold didn’t align with how it ended, leaving many of us, including myself, dissatisfied.

As creators, we often fail to honor our fans enough. I, along with Matt and Trey, hold our fans in the highest regard. You were promised a story with a beginning and an end that made sense. Because that promise wasn’t fulfilled, your disappointment is justified.

The show “Power” deserved a fitting conclusion. Had it ended the way it began, the art and narrative would have been something you’d discuss forever, a masterpiece deserving of a place in museums. Ghost, or James St. Patrick, was everyone’s uncle—striving to do right despite his wrongs. I cherished playing him and will always love the character.

However, it’s important to remember that while I played Ghost, I am more than just the character. Following my journey is more rewarding than clinging to the persona of Ghost. Thank you for your unwavering support and understanding.
