The Knicks lost Julius Randle for the season when he injured his shoulder in January. Due to surgery, the forward could only watch his team play in the NBA Playoffs. After the Eastern Conference Semifinals loss to the Pacers, the Knicks and Randle can focus on the long offseason ahead.
On Monday, Julius Randle used some of his spare time to visit the New York Stock Exchange. Along with his wife, Kendra Randle, and Skechers, he visited Wall Street to ring the opening bell..

The occasion was Skechers’ 25th anniversary, the shoe brand Randle signed with in 2023. Since his Kentucky days, Randle has been a Nike guy, but now he’s on board with Skechers, which led to him and his wife attending the NY establishment.
Following the Knicks’ elimination, there is considerable smoke around Randle’s future with the franchise, but his mind is set.
Julius Randle wants to stay with the Knicks
Since his move to the Knicks in 2019, Randle has been selected as an NBA All-Star on three occasions. Hence, it is only natural for him to want to stay in New York.
During a recent visit to the Empire State Building, Randle discussed his future. “Yeah, I’ve always said from the very beginning I would love to be here in New York and I would love to continue to add on to what the guys did in the playoffs,” said the 29-year-old.
He further added, “So really, that’s what my focus is, doing whatever I can to make sure I get healthy and get back and make sure I’m ready whenever we start playing again and contribute to winning. That’s really all my focus is and that stuff always in my career has taken care of itself.”
Before his season-ending injury, Randle was averaging 24 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5 assists. Had he stayed injury free, things could’ve gone differently in the playoffs as Jalen Brunson was the sole man pulling the numbers.
Randle will enter his final year on a $117,089,280 contract, with a player option in 2025. Given there’s no significant movement regarding his contract situation, the Knicks just might wait to see how his recovery goes and how he performs following the injury break.
