The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star took her 8-year-old to the Eras Tour abroad, she told PEOPLE at the Chanel Tribeca Artists Dinner
Jessica Capshaw is a proud Swiftie.
The Grey’s Anatomy star, 47, caught up with PEOPLE at the Chanel Tribeca Artists Dinner in New York City on June 10, revealing she and her daughter Josephine, 8, were enchanted to meet Taylor Swift, 34, in Paris in May.
“It was a magical, magical thing,” Capshaw recalls, nearly a month after taking Josephine to an Eras Tour show in France.
“I have four children, and I started with my son, where I take them to Paris … when they’re 7 years old,” the actress says explaining their family tradition. “We had to scoot it up [this time] just a tiny bit because we had to see Taylor Swift, so it was a little bit after her 8th birthday.”
On May 15, Capshaw posted a photo of herself, Josephine and Swift on Instagram after attending one of the superstar’s four sold-out Paris shows.
The three posed together backstage at the Eras Tour concert in the sweet pic, with Josephine wearing a T. Swift T-shirt and sparkly cowboy boots. Capshaw also included photos of herself and Josephine as they visited various tour sites around the City of Love.
Asked to name her favorite Swift song, Capshaw responded like a true Swiftie on the Chanel Tribeca Artists Dinner red carpet.
“I mean, how can you pick?” Capshaw responds to PEOPLE, adding that there are plenty of songs from Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department on her playlist.
Blake Lively, Katie Holmes, Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson were also in attendance.
The 17th annual Tribeca Artists Dinner is an evening honoring a curation of leading female artists who have contributed original artwork to the 2024 Festival filmmaker winners, according to a press release.
